Ready To Hang

Are you Ready to Hang? One night only, Sat. November 18, 6-9pm, at the CAW 631 Garden St, Santa Barbara, is one of our region’s largest showcases of local art!

The Santa Barbara Arts Collaborative Presents:

Ready to Hang
Public Art Sale
November 18, 2023 6 - 9 PM

Artist Kerrie Smith has donated Flora Ficciones Series ‘Aurora Hellianthus’.

A pop up show open to all local artists for creations 12 by 12 inches in size, Ready to Hang presents a unique opportunity to see new works by our entire community of artists in one show. The show features works for sale by dozens of area painters, photographers, assemblage makers, tattoo artists, fabric artists, printmakers and more. Prices set by the artists span a wide range, from a few dollars to a few hundred dollars, making it an an incredible opportunity to collect local work.

In 2022 we exhibited 408 pieces of art by more than 200 artists, and over two nights more than 800 people visited. Up to 450 pieces are anticipated this year, and even more artists and visitors are expected to participate. Purchases will be immediately available to “unhang” and take home.

Music for the public sale will be provided by Tripform (@official.tripform). Video projections are generously provided by the Environment Makers (@theenvironmentmakers). Submissions this year are already over the three hundred mark and entries are still steadily being submitted, but it is not too late to enter!
