Acrylic Painting Details

​Each signed acrylic painting is on a cradled wood panel, wired and ready to adorn your interior space. The edges are lightly varnished to complement the painting. No frame is necessary, but if you would like a simple narrow floater frame on your painting, please contact me kerriecan@mail.com to arrange that.

​Each painting is protected with a light coating of satin polymer varnish.

​How to Purchase a Smith Original

​All the paintings in the galleries not marked "Sold" are for sale.

​After clicking the Buy Now button, you will be taken to the PayPal website where you may use your PayPal account or, if you do not have an account, your credit card to purchase the painting. Sales tax will be added to the cost for residents of California.

​PayPal also offers PayPal Credit whereby you may pay off the loan within six months with no interest. 

​Each painting purchased will be a separate transaction with PayPal.

​Lay-Away Plans

​If you would like to make payments on a piece of art, please contact me, and we can agree on a payment plan whereby I automatically send installment invoices of $100 or more each month.  When payments are completed, the art piece can be shipped or delivered. If payments are abandoned anytime after the first installment, $100 will be retained as a service charge, and the difference will be returned.

​Shipping

​After you purchase, I will follow up with an email and/or phone call to determine the best option for transport. Shipping costs and any framing costs or foreign taxes will be invoiced by me in a separate PayPal transaction that must be remitted before shipping.

​Shipping Costs

​The chart below gives the maximum  costs I will charge you for shipping within the U.S. excluding Hawaii and Alaska.  Shipping outside of the contigous U.S. must be determined on a case-by-case basis but will not exceed the actual costs.

Viewing the Painting in Your Interior 

​If you would like to see how a painting might look in your home or office, please contact kerriecan@gmail.com a well-lit digital image of the wall you would like to hang the painting on and the surroundings.  Make sure you are looking straight on, parallel with the wall.  Please send dimensions of the scene depicted so that I can estimate how much wall the painting will take up.  I will send you back the image with the painting shown on the wall.

 Return Policy

 If your artwork arrives damaged, please take a photo of the damaged packaging and the artwork and notify me kerriecan@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery, and I will arrange for return and repair or refund.

​Otherwise, please be very careful to be sure that the size, shape, and colors of the painting you are purchasing are what you want.  You may initiate return of the artwork for a full refund within 14 days if it doesn't work for you, but the customer is responsible for return shipping. The artwork must arrive back in the same condition as it was before it left the studio. 

​(Colors on this website are achieved using a color calibrated monitor, so are as close to actual as possible.  However, people may see colors slightly differently if their viewing monitor is out of calibration.)
